DESCRIPTIONS

 YOGA
Yoga explores the body, mind, and spirit through the study of classic postures (asanas) originated in India several thousand years ago. All forms of yoga improve alignment, strength, flexibility, and balance.

Active Yoga

Iyengar Yoga was created by B.K.S. Iyengar of Pune, India, and emphasizes attention to the anatomical, physiological, and psychological aspects of the asanas. Level 1 is for beginners, Level 2 for advanced beginners, and Level 3 for intermediates.

Gentle Yoga

Restorative Yoga is designed for individuals who are unable to comfortably take an active yoga class. It is also ideal for stress relief, recovery from illness or injury, pregnant women, and students who need a slower pace. Asanas are done with support, mostly seated or reclining.

Slow Yoga is specifically designed for beginners of all ages. The gentle stretching exercises inspire and support increased vitality, strength, and flexibility. Body awareness and basic postures are developed with proper alignment.
